LxAM’s “Get Out My Way” Signals a New Chapter for Winnipeg’s Youngest Dance Talent

WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Winnipeg producer LxAM is stepping into a larger electronic music spotlight with “Get Out My Way,” a new single arriving Dec. 11, 2026, through Liftoff Recordings.

The track is the latest release from Liam Harvey, the 17-year-old artist behind LxAM. Known for blending melodic vocals with bass-forward house production, Harvey has already gained early streaming recognition: his song “I Just Wanna Dance” was featured on Spotify’s Bangers editorial playlist.

“Get Out My Way” continues that momentum. Running at 128 BPM, the vocal house single centres on taking control after a relationship begins to limit personal growth. It combines an emotional topline with an energetic groove built for clubs, workouts and late-night drives.

“I wanted the record to feel like a decision,” LxAM said. “It’s about realizing you have to stop letting someone hold you back and use that feeling to move forward.”

The single will be issued by Liftoff Recordings, founded by Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic, the American DJ-production team known as Disco Fries. The duo’s career includes work with Tiësto, as well as remixes for Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and Flo Rida.

The label release gives LxAM a notable international platform while he continues developing his project from Winnipeg, alongside influences gained during time spent in Miami.
