Purified Records Presents Remixes II Compilation

Revisiting a selection of label releases from over the past year, Purified Records presents the Remixes II compilation.

Inviting French producer Aalson to put his own spin on Colombian producer Deviu’s Snow Ft. Mira Nait, his remix enters a heavier dimension while maintaining the original’s vocals and progressive atmosphere. Moving into German producer TH;EN’s remix of The Night by HEREON x Adam Sellouk x Braev x Like Mike, this powerful rendition builds a steady soundscape around the impactful vocals. Revisiting Nightlapse’s ‘Weightless’, Swiss producer Dan Sushi infuses trance and progressive elements to achieve a rave-ready version of the label anthem.

Passionate about film music and techno, Aalson creates his own universe by crossing these two strong influences. Guided by his feelings, he developed a personal taste and a subtle approach to music, loaded with emotion and experience from along the years. With his releases on Spectrum, Purified and Sinners, he has defined his own style and offers a sonic journey of rare power. His live show will tell you a story worthy of a movie, between melancholy and epic moments.

Constantly creating, adapting and above all learning, the sky is the limit for German-born project, TH;EN. Having consistently garnered support from top artists like Solomun, Pete Tong, and Adriatique, his recent success across leading dance music labels feels as if he’s only scratching the surface. A surface ripe with releases on imprints including Diynamic, Odd One Out, ATLANT, and Purified.

Dan Sushi is one half of the Swiss duo Fat Sushi. With releases on some of the most respected labels in music, they have chartered releases on the likes of Einmusika, DAYS like NIGHTS, Odd One Out, Parquet and Katermukke, to name a few. Spending almost two decades in the industry before they joined forces, the producers decided to unite under the moniker Fat Sushi in 2013. In 2023, Dan Sushi decided to start his own solo side project, landing his debut solo offering in the shape of his Titanium EP.

The Remixes II artwork displays coral and surrounding reef fish, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Small reef fish play a crucial role in maintaining the health of coral ecosystems by controlling algae growth, which can otherwise smother corals. Their feeding habits promote coral regeneration and biodiversity, ensuring the resilience of these delicate marine habitats. These little fish also serve as a vital food source for larger predators, supporting the broader oceanic food web. You can help protect these ecosystems by being a citizen scientist; track fish and reef health when you volunteer your time to reefcheck.org.
