The Brutalist Sound of Accelerated Corrosion

Accelerated Corrosion, the alias of Spanish producer David Hernández, returns with a powerful new EP that cements his place in the industrial techno and EBM landscape. With deep roots in the 90s underground DJ scene, his latest release distills decades of sonic evolution into a brutal yet immersive experience.

The EP delivers a relentless energy across tracks like Dark Essence, Time to Go, and Superdark, where distorted basslines, mechanical percussion, and eerie atmospheres form a dystopian, dancefloor-ready aesthetic. The addition of remixes by Israel Padilla, Serge Geyzel, Christian Kroupa, and Extase Urbaine brings further depth, allowing each track to evolve in unexpected directions.

Serge Geyzel’s melancholic IDM-infused rework of Dark Essence stands out with its analog synthwork and electro grit, while Christian Kroupa’s take on Time to Go transforms it into a tribal-industrial ritual that echoes his past work with R&S Records. Meanwhile, Israel Padilla keeps the raw EBM spirit alive, and Extase Urbaine injects a forward-thinking blend of techno and electro.

A release that doesn’t just honor the past but pushes dark electronic music forward, this EP is a testament to Accelerated Corrosion’s mastery of intensity and atmosphere.
