Jason Kushy Delivers New Tech House Release Side Effects

The two-track EP arrives today via OMNIX Records, featuring “No Distractions” and “Veneno.”

Jason Kushy has released Side Effects, a new two-track tech house EP available today, November 6, 2026, via OMNIX Records, under exclusive license to Universal Music Ltda.

Featuring “No Distractions” and “Veneno,” Side Effects continues Kushy’s ongoing exploration of club-focused production, melodic hooks and the shared energy between a DJ and the dance floor. The release follows his Beatport-charting Keep It Moving EP and adds to a catalog that has continued to grow since his original release campaign began in 2025.

Kushy’s Keep It Moving EP, released through Direct Action Records, reached No. 18 on Beatport’s Tech House Top 100 Releases chart. He has since surpassed one million Spotify streams, built an audience of more than 120,000 monthly listenersand reached over 450,000 unique listeners during the past 12 months.

Based in Monterey, California, Kushy was raised in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. His DJ journey began at around 11 years old, when he started teaching himself to mix with an $80 mixer in his parents’ basement. By eighth grade, he had launched his own DJ business, later performing at weddings, proms and parties.

Those early experiences helped Kushy develop a natural understanding of crowd dynamics. Before releasing original music, he spent years learning how to respond to different rooms and audiences—an experience that continues to inform his work behind the decks and in the studio.

His music has received support from Louis The Child, SIDEPIECE, Jauz, Wolfgang Gartner, Bingo Players and San Holo. Repost support has also come from Dim Mak, Insomniac Records, Barong Family and Space Yacht.

Kushy’s wider catalog includes the original tracks “Gave It My All,” “I’m Okay” and “Close the Door,” along with remixes of songs by Fleetwood Mac, Pet Shop Boys, Hall & Oates, Natasha Bedingfield and Sean Paul.

His Stay Kushy project expands that musical identity through original releases, minimalist artwork, live sets featuring exclusive edits and custom visuals inspired by games, animation and pop culture. At its center is a focus on authenticity, connection and creating memorable experiences that extend beyond the club.
